it's alive.

i’ve always wanted a small space online, away from social media — somewhere quiet where i can write about whatever is on my mind. current obsessions, half-formed thoughts, things that are bugging me that week.

this blog went through so many versions i’ve lost count. different names, different designs, countless hours of coding and debugging that eventually got scrapped because nothing ever felt quite right. but maybe that was part of it.

and now it’s here. finally.

i think i’m drawn to microblogging because i don’t want the pressure that comes with social media — performing, curating, optimizing. i don’t really care for perfect posts or polished content. i just like writing. and reading. and thinking out loud in text.

i’ll probably write about tech, medieval stuff, feminism, women’s history, things i’m building, and whatever else shows up in my head.

maybe one day i’ll look back and see all the versions of me that lived here.
